Meet the Team
Dedicated to supporting you throughout the immigration process.

I am a Guyanese native who migrated to New York City back in 2010. Over the last few years, I’ve spent my time finishing up my Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY) and working as an Immigration Paralegal. Before I began working in immigration, I thought I had a good idea of what immigration law was all about based on the one personal and cold experience I had as a teenager. I’m often shocked by all the different layers of immigration law, but I’m thrilled that I get to work behind the scenes to help our clients accomplish their goals of living and working in the U.S. worry-free. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and three cats, experimenting in the kitchen, and traveling (when I can) throughout the U.S. My goal is to one day explore and eat my way through all 50 states.

I’m originally from New York and hopped between there and the Midwest while completing my undergraduate degree. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid as an undergrad and that experience made a tremendous impression on 21-year old me. I did not know it at the time, but it would ultimately shape my career path.
After completing graduate school, I settled in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and for the next 17 years worked in higher education where I specialized in international student immigration practices and services. I worked with thousands of students from all over the world and was responsible for the office’s full range of services focused on compliance and practical needs unique to international students living and studying in the United States. Employment-based immigration is now a new way for me to engage with individuals from around the world and help them achieve their goals!
Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children as well as the friends who have become family since living in Ohio. Skiing, spending time at the beach, cooking savory dishes, and going for long solitary walks are among my favorite things to do.
